MOUNT DORA HOMES
Mount Dora was granted its city charter in 1910, when the town had 371 residents. It took its name from Lake Dora in 1883.
The National Park Service lists the Mount Dora Historic District on the National Register as of October 1, 2009, roughly bounded by 3rd Avenue, 11th Avenue, Clayton Street and Helen Street. If your house is in or near it, ask the city whether exterior changes need review before you pick colors.
