Painting Isn’t Just Something We Do — It’s Something We Were Raised In

Back in the late 1980s, my father and uncle built one of Orlando’s respected painting companies—Orlando Paint Co. Their focus was residential repaints, commercial projects, and subcontract work from companies like Sears through the 80s and 90s. From as far back as I can remember, I was around it. The sights, the work ethic, even the smell of paint—it was part of everyday life.

In 1993, my father was tragically killed. It was a devastating time for our family, and for a while, I stepped away from the industry completely. I tried different paths, different jobs—but nothing felt right. Eventually, my older brother had the idea to bring the dream back—to rebuild what had been started. After the first house we painted, something clicked. It didn’t feel like just work—it felt like purpose.

What started as a step back into the trade became something much bigger. This isn’t just a career—it’s a calling. Today, over 25 years later, we’re still carrying that legacy forward. As Orlando natives, we’ve weathered market crashes, storms, and the ups and downs of business—but through it all, we’ve stayed committed to one thing: serving our community with integrity, consistency, and quality in our work.
